FAQ: Arctic Walkaround

GENERAL INFORMATION

Are you easy to find?
We are easy to find situated on the A47. If you are using a sat nav, then please use our postcode to find us: PE14 7DA


Are there parking facilities on site?
There is a large free car park on site. We have limited disabled parking spaces available. Please note our car park is gravelled with paved walkways.

What to wear?
The event takes place under cover but can get pretty cold in some areas. We advise visitors to dress for the weather and bring a coat, hats, gloves to stay warm!

What else is on site?
We have the Bar & Grill restaurant, and Farm Shop also on site, all of which can be accessed without a ticket during our opening hours. Located within Santa's Arctic Adventure is Bertha’s Coffee and Creamery, other Street Food Vendors, Electric Tractor Track and retail outlets.

Toilets
Accessible toilets (including baby changing) are located next to the Food and Drinks Bar within our Event Space.

Can we book a table in your restaurant?
We recommend booking at all times during December, book a table here.

Are dogs allowed?
No. As much as we adore our four-legged friends, for the safety and comfort of all our guests, dogs are not allowed anywhere on site. (Except for guide dogs.)

When is the Arctic Walkaround Open?
The Arctic Walkaround is open on selected days from Saturday 30 November to Tuesday 24 December. See our booking page for more information.

How long is the Arctic Walkaround Experience?
Please allow 1.5 hours for the experience.

How much are the tractor rides?
Tractor Rides are £1 each and take cash only. Change is available at Bertha's Coffee & Creamery Kiosk.

For your safety
Please ensure you stick to the route and supervise children/vulnerable adults at all times. Please refrain from touching lights/electrical equipment, props and sets other than the clearly marked interactive elements. Please ensure health and safety signage is observed and adhered to at all times when riding the tractors.

TICKET INFORMATION

Do I need a ticket?
Yes tickets are required upon entry and can be purchased online.

What is included in an Arctic Walkaround ticket?
Your Arctic Walkaround ticket includes:

  • Gingerbread Decorating
  • Make your own reindeer food
  • Meet our festive friends (Queen Elsa or Santa's Cheeky Elves)
  • Scavenger hunt with chocolate prize
  • Access to Santa's Village including Christmas animatronics, Zippity’s Electric Tractor Track and Hook-a-duck
  • Free parking

Can I change my booking?
We are unable to refund or alter the date/time of tickets after booking. Please take extra care when booking your tickets.

What are the prices for the Arctic Walkaround?
Child: £15 includes: gingerbread decorating, reindeer food making, scavenger hunt
Adult: £10
Under 1 Years: Not including any activities: Free, when attending alongside 1 full paying child ticket. No ticket required. Please be aware, anyone clearly over age 1 without a paying ticket will be required to purchase one on the door.

Can I get a copy of my booking email?
Once you have booked, you will receive an automated email (to the email address you submitted during the booking process – please remember to check your email junk/spam folder for this) confirming the details of your booking. We do not send you any actual tickets, you will just need your digital ticket on the day. You do not need to print - we will be able to admit you using your digital QR code ticket, order/booking number and/or the full name of the lead booking person. Please ensure that you arrive with this information readily available to enable smooth access.

If I am delayed and miss my slot, can I join a later slot?
Please arrive in time for your fixed entry slot. All entry slots have a fixed maximum capacity, and subsequent timeslots (or indeed the entire event) may be at capacity. In which case regrettably we will be unable to transfer your ticket to a different time slot. Please Note: All tickets are strictly non-transferrable and can not be used at a different time/on a different day.

Allergies
My child has a food allergy, will they still be able to take part in all of the activities on offer? Yes. We can adapt the gingerbread decorating to cater for most allergies. If your child has an allergy, please inform us in writing: worzals-events@outlook.com ahead of the event including personal information and booking confirmation details. Please include booking information to ensure we are able to track. It is important that you please make staff aware of any allergies on the day also.
