FAQ: Buddy's Christmas Fayre & Grotto

Getting here

There is a large free car park on site. We have limited disabled parking spaces available. We are easy to find situated on the A47. If you are using a form of GPS, then please use our postcode to find us: PE14 7DA

What to wear?
The event takes place in our Garden Centre which is under cover but can be cold in some areas. We advise visitors to dress for the weather and bring a coat to stay warm!

Toilets
Toilets (including baby change and fully accessible toilets) are located in the Farm Shop. These can be accessed either at the start or end of the experience.

Tickets
You do not need to print any tickets. Please ensure you have your booking confirmation email ready when you approach check in. If you are arriving separately from anyone in your group, please ensure that they also have access to this information ie. booking reference or lead booking person's full name before arrival. If you require any extra general admittance tickets, these should be purchased from the till in the Garden Centre before going into the Fayre (general admittance ONLY - no grotto tickets will be available)

Arrival Time
If you have tickets to visit the grotto, your booking time is the time allocated for your Santa's Grotto experience. We advise that you arrive on site 30-60 minutes before your Grotto time to enable you to enjoy the Christmas Fayre experience and walk through before entering the Grotto.
If you have tickets for admittance to the Christmas Fayre only - these tickets are booked for a set entry slot. This helps ensure a good flow of people across the experience and car park throughout the day. Occasionally we may run behind schedule but we will do our best to avoid this.

Food & Drink
Bertha's Coffee & Creamery Kiosk, located inside the Fayre, serves a selection of delicious Waffles, Sundaes, Hot Drinks, Mulled Wine, Alcohol and Soft Drinks. Please note we can only accept card payments at Bertha's Coffee & Creamery. We have the Bar & Grill restaurant, and Farm Shop also on site, all of which can be accessed with or without a ticket during our opening hours. We recommend booking ahead at the Bar & Grill at all times during December, book a table here. 

Electric Tractor Rides
Our electric tractors are £1 a ride and take £1 coins only. Change is available at Bertha's Coffee & Creamery if needed.

For your safety
Please ensure you stick to the route and supervise children/vulnerable adults at all times. Please refrain from touching lights/electrical equipment, props and sets other than the clearly marked interactive elements. Please ensure health and safety signage is observed and adhered to at all times when riding the tractors.
 
What is the difference between the two ticket types?
We have 2 different admissions types. Tickets to Buddy's Christmas Fayre are £5 each, Under 2's go free. This ticket gives you access to the Fayre which includes animatronics, Christmas sets, festive photo opportunities, Bertha's Coffee & Creamery, the electric tractor track and our seasonal treasure trail.

Grotto tickets are £5 for adults (no gift) and £20 for children. This allows ticket holders access to the Fayre (described above) as well as the grotto. Additionally, the grotto tickets include fun Christmas Crafts for children to enjoy in the elve's workshop before heading in to meet Santa. You will be required to show your show ticket upon entry. All full price paying children also receive a gift from Santa.

Does my Santa’s Grotto ticket entitle me to enter the Buddy’s Christmas Fayre?
Yes, your ticket entitles you for entrance to Buddy’s Christmas Fayre AND the Santa’s Grotto. You will be required to show your show ticket upon entry.

Entry into Santa’s Grotto
Please note that your booking time is the time allocated for your Santa's Grotto experience. We advise that you arrive on site 30-60 minutes before your Grotto time to enable you to enjoy the Christmas Fayre experience and walk through before entering the Grotto. However, if you wish to re-enter the Christmas Fayre after the Grotto you are most welcome to*. Occasionally we may run behind schedule, we will do our best to avoid this. 

*We reserve the right to refuse readmittance to the Christmas Fayre during exceptionally busy times.
 
What time does the event begin and end?
Buddy’s Christmas Fayre is open from Thursday 1 December - Saturday 24 December. The Santa’s Grotto is open on selected dates and time slots only. Visit our booking page for more info.

What else is on site?
We have the Bar & Grill restaurant, and Farm Shop also on site, all of which can be accessed with or without a ticket during our opening hours. Located in the Christmas Fair, our Bertha’s Coffee and Creamery and Electric Tractor Track is available to ticket-holders only.
