Borettane onions preserved in Balsamic vinegar for a beautiful blend of sweetness and acidity. The Borettane is a mild, sweet Italian pearl onion that’s flat, almost saucer-like in shape. They’re harvested, then washed, peeled and quickly blanched, before being stored in Balsamic vinegar IGP to imbue it’s sweetly acidic flavour into the onion until it takes on a softer texture.
