22/09/2020 - Worzals Farm Shop receives Great Taste Award for ‘Warming, homely and delicious’ Chicken, Ham and Leek Pie
Worzals has received a Great Taste Award for their Chicken, Ham and Leek Pie in the world’s most coveted Food and Drinks Awards.
Great Taste is judged by 144 of the most discerning palates including food critics, chefs, restaurateurs, buyers, retailers, food writers and journalists and is considered as one of the most highly regarded and trusted awards in the Food and Drink industry.
In the blind tasting, the judges described Worzals Chicken, Ham and Leek pie as: “A great distribution of meat, with good cuts of chicken and ham. A beautiful pastry encases it and it is comfort food in every way. Warming homely and delicious. The balance of flavours is perfect.”

We are absolutely delighted to be recognised with a Great Taste Award after a really tough year for our industry. We make all our pies by hand using our family recipes and they are a firm favourite amongst our customers. This is our first year entering the Great Taste and it is a great honour to receive such a prestigious award and receive the wonderful feedback from the judges. We will be wearing our black and gold Great Taste label with pride!
05/10/2018 - Worzals Collects Retailer of the Year Award at Fenland Business Awards 2018
Worzals joined Fenland's finest at the Fenland business awards where they collected Retailer of the Year Award. Owner Joe Curson said:
We are so proud to have won retailer of the year at the Fenland Business Awards this evening. We couldn't have done it without the fantastic team we have here.
11/09/2018 - Worzals crowned ‘Best Independent Food and Drink Retailer’ as part of the prestigious Eat Norfolk Food and Drink Awards 2018

We are honoured to receive the Best Independent Food and Drink Retailer Award which will now be taking pride of place in the Farm Shop. This award means even more to us because we were up against some very stiff competition including Jarrold Deli, Archer’s and Pye Baker (all based in Norwich). This recognition can only be attributed to the hard work put in by our amazing members of staff who have worked tirelessly during a very busy summer.
Best Independent Food and Drink Retailer award was sponsored by Bakers and Larners. Finalists were Archer's of Norwich, Jarrold Deli and Pye Baker of Norwich.
14/06/2018 - Worzals Bar and Grill takes top business accolade
Worzals Bar and Grill has won Restaurant of the Year in the prestigious Cambridgeshire SME Business Awards.
Worzals Bar and Grill were delighted to win the top accolade at the industry competition.

Worzals is a family run business which first opened its doors back in 2011.
