We’re excited to offer your school the chance to be part of a wonderful community celebration this Easter and to win £1000 for your school! 

To mark the opening of our brand new undercover play park at  Worzals, we’re launching a fun and creative competition as part of our ‘Hop into Spring’ Easter event. We’re inviting schools in the local area to create an Easter Egg design using any medium of your choice, and the designs will be displayed at our family-friendly event, running from 5th to 22nd April 2025.

Why take part? This competition isn’t just about creativity – it’s about giving back to our local community and promoting the exciting new opportunities at Worzals for children and families. The winning Easter Egg design will receive £1000 for your school and a free weekend play session for the class who created it. 

But that’s not all! The ‘Hop into Spring’ event is packed with fun for all ages, and we’d love for you and your students to join us. The event will feature:

- NEW indoor play park filled with zip lines, slides, and more!
- Easter Egg Hunt, with a chance to win a chocolate egg!
- Meet the Easter Bunny and snap a photo with this springtime VIP!
- Face painting, electric tractor rides, and classic games like Hook-a-Duck.
- Delicious street food to fuel your adventure!

Event Details:

- Dates: 5th April – 22nd April 2025
- Sessions: 9-11am, 11am-1pm, 1-3pm and 3-5pm

We invite Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 pupils to take part in the Easter Egg design competition, with one entry per school. Please submit your entries, either electronically or by post, by Friday 21st March 2025. The winning design will be displayed at the event, and visitors will vote for their favourite.

We believe this competition will not only give your pupils a chance to showcase their creativity, but also connect them with a fantastic local event. Plus, we can’t wait to see the amazing designs that will bring our Easter event to life!

Terms & Conditions – Easter Egg Design Competition  

1. Eligibility:  
   - Open to Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 pupils.  
- Open to local schools only.
   - Each school may submit one Easter Egg design entry. 

2. Entry Requirements:  
   - Designs can be created using any medium. 
   - Entries must be submitted electronically or by post by Friday 21st March 2025. 
   - Late submissions will not be considered.  
   - Due to limitations in regards to space, we reserve the right to refuse applicants should we reach our maximum capacity. In this instance, displayed entries will be selected on a first come, first served basis.

3. Judging & Voting:  
   - All submitted designs will be displayed at the ‘Hop into Spring’ event at Worzals from 5th – 22nd April 2025. 
   - Visitors will vote for their favorite design. 
   - The entry with the most votes will be declared the winner. 

4. Prize: 
   - The winning school will receive a £1000 cash prize. 
   - The school that created the winning design will receive a free weekend play session at Worzals’ new indoor play park open to Reception, year 1 and year 2 classes (subject to maximum capacity limits.)  

5. General Terms:  
   - By entering, schools consent to their designs being displayed publicly and used in promotional materials. 
   - The organisers reserve the right to disqualify any entry that does not meet the competition guidelines. 
   - The organisers’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
